Re: Just checking in.

Just checking in. I’m going to lay a bit low on the forum just now. I think it will mostly be acknowledging achievements for now. I have got myself in knots over stuff lately and I don’t want to be that person anymore. I will maybe write the rest of what I’d planned to on the recovery thread but for now I’m just sooooooooo tired, motionless tired.

@CheerBear I know things are really obviously not great for you. Thinking of you. Thanks for the reminder of spring things. Daffodils are my fave flower (oh and cherry blossom 🌸) I have my first spring blossom on my new tree (planted last summer). They are not very specky but are telling me spring is coming. Hoping you are getting outside and having those few moments of serenity.

💜🤗

one of my favourite images of all time (not taken by me). It’s a happy place image.

I just realised that this is why images fill my iPad and phone. I can’t visualise anywhere or anything so I rely on images for that. She says smacking her forehead 🤦‍♀️ for only just connecting this :face_with_rolling_eyes:. You learn something about yourself when you least expect to.

Re: Just checking in.

Just checking in now also. Thanks for the messages @Shaz51 @Bimby2 @outlander @Maggie and @Teej. I hope you're all doing well enough ❤

@Teej So nice to hear about your spring cheer. I have been spending some time in the garden too. I can feel the weather is changing and it's very welcome. We haven't had the heater on for the last two nights and the windows have been open throughout the day and into the evening, which I really appreciate being able to do.

The kids and I planted some seeds for the vegetable garden in the greenhouse the other day. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow and being able to move them into the new garden beds we made. Spring is my favourite time of the year in this house. The trees are scattered with pink and white blossoms and there are so many colorful flowers around. Birds galore also, including some rainbow lorrikeets that visit around this time of the year. I find peace taking myself out into the garden and watching and listening to it all. I think it's my happy place.

Here's a little piece of it

I also bought (and then spent hours wrestling pieces to assemble) a new bed and I love it. It motivated me to tidy, organise and rearrange my room which is great. Maybe too great because I love the space so much that it's tempting me to shut myself away in it often 😉 Friend has been a great "right banana head - this is not happening today" lift out of my puddle of sads and in to the world during the day, and I'm really thankful for that/for him.

The other thing that happened was that I dragged myself off to start sandplay therapy this week. I was super emotional and very feely feeling but it was really cool to be in the space just looking and talking about it all. I've never tried sandplay before but its something I'm also looking forward to.

(One day maybe I won't write novels here - maybe 😝😉)

I can imagine that as tomorrow gets closer, you might be feeling/thinking lots of things (unless maybe it's already happened and I've missed it) Teej. I am thinking of you, sending you oodles of "you got this", and really hoping that there's the right outcome for you in it all.

Re: Just checking in.

Thanks @CheerBear for checking in and sharing 💜. It was good to hear from you and that friend is proving a pretty good antidote for banana head 😊. Your garden cheer is lovely. I want to get back in the garden again too to do work not just admire my pretties and walk back inside, just haven’t made it lately.

Tomorrow is the appointment day unless she cancels :face_with_rolling_eyes:. I’m trying not to be to caught up in it but I guess there are times I am. I am going ok and had a pretty stable week by my standards but I think I’ve made things pretty small and caged in for that to happen. Brain is a little in hyperdrive though reflecting and thinking through things.

I had a teej novel thesis lecture :face_with_rolling_eyes:🤦‍♀️ in my head after reading your rave post but to tell the truth I haven’t got it in me to write just now so you don’t have to suffer after all 😜

@Maggie@outlander@Shaz51@Bimby2

I hope today finds you going ok. @Maggie I read some of your thread and I’m so glad there is some positive. I haven’t really caught up on much else for now.

Some spring cheer for you all. B679AFFA-BAF8-47F3-8B08-3CBA54298214.jpeg099CEC94-61E5-41D5-A760-1D17D925C848.jpeg

love the pictures @Teej Heart

Hello @CheerBear, @Maggie, @outlander, @Bimby2

Re: Just checking in.

Smiles reading your post @Teej. Love the spring chicks 😊🐣

Great to hear from you and to hear that you've been going OK this week. I think it's pretty understandable that you might get caught up in the thoughts about tomorrow sometimes. As much as I would want to try, I think I would struggle not to too. Caged in is also the way it has to be sometimes for me to be OK too. Hope there's been some comfort in the cage somewhere.

Hugs for the hyperdrive brain. Will be thinking of you tomorrow and looking forward to hearing how you get on. 🍌💗😊

Hey @Shaz51. Hope your day is going OK ❤
