The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Sounds like my kind of night's sleep @Former-Member. I also didn't get to sleep until 2am. Mr A has been super naughty this morning. He woke me at 3am & pretty much didn't let up until I fed him at 4:30am. I didn't even have a coffee at that time like I usually do.

And I've had to wake again at 8:30am as I have a GP appt soon. Mr A has damaged another library book, a new one. Sigh-that's the second one now I'll have to pay for. It was even hidden under the pillows but he's pulled it out. So he's not my favourite cat this morning.

Not sure what you meant by checkin??

Morning @outlander @Snowie @CheerBear @Maggie @Zoe7 @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Lee82 @eth @Bunniekins

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Good morning @Sans911, hope your GP appointment goes well today. That is one naughty cat you have there. I would be crying in a corner of my girl chewed one of my books 🤨

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911  Hey Sans911 I know what you mean about naughty fur babies ..... my bunny can be a very naughty boy at times .... nothing is sacred ...... I mean nothing! :o. Hope you get some 'cat' naps throughout the day. Love peax

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Ohhh naughty Mr A 👎:angry_face_with_horns:  He clearly is a scholarly type of chap.  2 books now ... Hmmm, getting expensive.

Yes very weary today.  Sounds like you are too after so much disruption throughout the night.  Hope your GP appointment goes okay this morning.  Presuming its via telehealth?  When I said had you received a checkin, I meant had a manager or moderator been in touch with you to make sure you were okay and to debrief, etc.  I hope you are able to catch up a bit on lost sleep through the day.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Naughty naughty MrA this morning. I can relate to that though. My dog has eaten 2 library books in the past as well...🤨 was very embarrassing having to explain to the librarian what happened...lol

hope you are able to get some rest this arvo @Sans911

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911  All the best with your GP app. Naughty Mr A. :angry_face_with_horns::angry_face_with_horns: I hope you get some rest time later today. 💜💜💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Haha @Lee82 - I shouldn't laugh as it's not really funny. Books are expensive. But you made me feel a little better. It's one thing though saying my dog ate the book, but saying the cat ate it isn't quite expected, is it? Thanks for giving me a giggle.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Lol....your welcome @Sans911 . Didn't cost that much though. I think from memory they charged me $5 to $10 a book cause they were old.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

No @Former-Member  that's what I thought you might be asking. No check in or debrief or anything else from anyone here at all. I am a bit surprised at the lack of response at the time when everything was happening too. Never mind. I have had a chat with my GP this morning about some things, it got a bit emotional at one point. My poor GP often hears the worst of how I am, as she's one of the few professionals I can trust with such personal stuff. We met face to face, and she wants to see me weekly as she is quite concerned about me.

I have also had my support worker today for a couple of hours, which was nice. We took a walk and got a takeaway coffee. I am going to an online meeting now to play a game called Boggle.

Thinking of you too lil Sis @outlander
