The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I didn't finish that post @Eve7 @Zoe7. I accidentally hit post before I finished it, and then I decided it was best deleted. I have really messed up so badly. I potentially destroyed a carefully built up therapeutic alliance with my support worker.

But again I will put on an OK face when my mother arrives in just a little bit. I'll say I'm fine when really I'm anything but. I'm too cowardly to harm myself because I'm so useless at it, and I'll just be in a place I don't want to be. Trying to stay strong, but everything feels fkng hopeless and lost. I want to say maybe this will pass, maybe everything will be alright in a few days but if not?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

It does seem you are going to the worst case scenario Hon but nothing that cannot be sorted out - if your support worker has your best interests at heart then they will talk to you about what has happened. As I don't know the exact details (and do not need to) I cannot say everything will be alright in this case but I do know you will get through because you are one of the strongest people I have ever met @Sans911 There is so much in you life now that is positive and you have done all that work to get there - so whatever happens with this support worker you will come through because you have a heart of gold, a will to be better and the strength to continue to find ways to move forward Heart

I’ll boil the jug and make us a cuppa @Zoe7 @Sans911

Sitting outside in the (disappearing) sun at work writing a stupid plan.

Here for you 💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hi @Sans911

You are probably not online right now but I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and I am here for you.

Take care my sister, love you 💕💕

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Zoe7 @Eve7 @Snowie thank you for your love and support. There was much, much more to today than I have explained earlier. I was reactive earlier, but now trying to be proactive. I'm just so angry, invalidated and confused that people that sit in offices (ndis) can make decisions about you with a strike of the keyboard. It feels like sometimes there are a thousand steps to reach the near impossible peak of a decent life, yet you only get to 50 or so before someone pushes you back a fair way or all the way back to the beginning.

But I keep going because you all do the same thing. You get back up too. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

@outlander you too lil Sis

@Sans911

Wishing you a good day sis, hoping it is a little better.

Love you lots 💗💗💗💗

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Morning @Snowie

It isn't any better hun. But I have a busy day ahead, so I won't have time to think about things. Tommorow will be harder again as I will need to deal with the issue again, fill out documentation trying to justify my mental health, etc. Deal with my support worker or not.

How's things for you?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Morning @Emelia8

Your so often there in the background. Silently supporting me. I'm not sure if you're aware how much it means to me. And much I appreciate that support 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

That sounds really hard hon and a difficult position to be in @Sans911

It is really hard when we have to justify our mental health and get the help that we deserve.

Things are going ok for me. We spent a week up at the snow which was nice to get away as a family.

I had a call from work cover yesterday and they have rejected my latest claim so know I have to try and justify why I need it approved. I don't think they realise how much it effects us when they do this type of thing.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Aww that is rubbish @Snowie. I'm so sorry you are going through that.
