I think mine still considers himself a Christian ..... turns up fleetingly at church (?!) while still married to me and living with "her", and her kids, under my nose and all over the people and places that used to be all about us.

My counsellor has provided me info on NPD which has helped me wrap my head around the pattern that has emerged.  I hope that helps to give you a lead with your own recovery  It was so foreign a concept, and so subtle / masked that I didn't see it coming.  

The change (bs and lies) also occurred for us across a ten year period too.  So far there hasn't been any evidence of other affairs, but there is a trail of financial betrayal ...... and I don't know the details of his "new" relationship yet, including how long he has known her or where / how they met.  It will come out progressively though.  Truth doesn't remain hidden.

Had some sleep last night and no pain this morning so things looking up so far. Going to my sister's later but want to get a few things done first. Still super tired but will push through that.

Still very tired @Zoe7 so lazing in this morning, but thinking about getting up for a coffee.  I am having some friends over later, so need to get my act into gear at some point.  This day is to me a remembrance and consideration day.  Our nation and its people have unresolved issues around this day ....., it's a "sitting in" if you like, in honour of healing and change.

Totally agree @Faith-and-Hope I do not 'celebrate' today at all - it is for me a dark day in our history ...one we need to acknowledge having an understanding of what it means to our indigenous brothers and sisters. 

I hope we can move forward also in healing and change - the conversation needs to move past just talking though and actual listening to what it is for our first nation's people ...and change occurring as a result.

I do though hope you have a lovely day with your friends Hon - a small part of your life that is moving forward in such a positive way - super happy you are forming those bonds and friendships in the east 😁👍💖

Been to my sister's and she was still at my parents' so I had some kitten cuddles and headed there myself. Pegged their washing out and cleaned a few things up then came home. Didn't stay long as I am still feeling very tired. My mouth is a lot better though so that is a bonus. 

Have to do some work this afternoon before I head into work tomorrow to meet with my co-teacher. Then I will have a better idea of what we are doing at least next week and can begin planning for that.

Much cooler here today and the rain has stopped for now so hoping to get my washing dry then folded/ironed and put away. Need to vacuum again also then will take time out later to watch the cricket. Hoping for an early night as tomorrow will be a long day.
