Re: Night Shift

hehe yeah. i've sewed heaps of stuff, phone cases etc. it's a handy skill.

making a tablet case out of this wallet thing thst folds over, just had to put a few stitches in it to get it to the right size.

Re: Night Shift

you must be good @plasmo  I was a bit in awe of gf like 40years ago as she had professional machine and sewed for designers

sister who dont talk to  did tafe courses on how to adapt patterns to dift sizes. she made her kids clothes whenthey were young

Re: Night Shift

@plasmo  Absolutely.
should I live in the centre of Perth ?
I have a talent for always picking the wrong houses to live in.

Re: Night Shift

yeah i'm not good at it.. but can do basic stuff, when i'm not dropping my needle, losing bits.. stabbing myself etc. really is a skill and you can get into the zone doing it.

only had to put about 3 stitches in this thing, now got to work out how to mount the tablet in it.

i've got an old phone case i can cut up for the corner bits, cut a piece of cardboard which i can slot in but it looks like cardboard.. was going to cut a black display book.. but i might just put black gaffer tape around edges, can always change it later, get stuff finjshed then fiddle about later.

Re: Night Shift

oh you mean hand sewing @plasmo  need right size needles, thread , decent thimble

Re: Night Shift
