Re: Night Shift

I've got 2 sheets of metal I'm going to rivet together.. one had a corner cut out.. so I trimmed it with grinder. I put the grinding wheel on so it's not sharp and it starts leaking grease.. spend rest of afternoon cleaning it up

Re: Night Shift

what the grinder leaked grease @plasmo  ? throw it in the fire ...................

Re: Night Shift

oh, btw , rivets are underrated/misunderstood these days . was no sheetmetal trade for a while think. @plasmo , same as brazing etc

Re: Night Shift

Yeh might have to regrease it.. will clean it up first. I liked rivets til I ran out.. went back to Bunnings and didn't have same ones, bugger ones are killer to put on

Re: Night Shift

best unpowered rivet gun is lazy tongs either that or compressed air @plasmo

Re: Night Shift

Yeh bought this one cheap at cashies.shoukd go in again but the staff are all annoying

Re: Night Shift

They are ….

 Nighty nights you 2

Re: Night Shift

they  probs swap it out @plasmo  they dont pay anything like what things worth, person took it there might have got 1/4 what you paid or they may have paid many times what you paid to give thing to cashies. Evil business. I pawned stuf there when realised would be broke on 40th.got like less than 1/4 what things worth. thought about leaving it there , but they cant lose. bought it back then lost it all somewhere moving house not long afterwards
