hope y’all are traveling along ok?
our day has been good so far. And yep you’re right, no sleep in for us today! D up early for her birthday. She was very spoilt. And did love and appreciate all her gifts. Lots of dragon stuff and arts and craft supplies that she keeps stealing off me! She now has her stuff… including 3 big rolls of masking tape! 😂
we ordered McDonald’s for breakfast and was so disappointed! Took an hr and arrived cold. I got a refund.
she spent a few hours at her dads.
I stopped off at my favorite op shop. Went to get a few more towels for the kittens. I came home with 4 blankets, 2 cat beds, a pet carrier and a big bag of craft supplies! And all for $20!! I first just had a small pile if craft stuff and went to pay and she asked if I wanted some more craft stuff… say yes please… please say yes. I caved and said sure, I’ll have a look. She lead me upstairs to a room that had 5 big boxes of arts and craft stuff. Spend 1/2hr picking out some stuff and then wandered back down stairs to pay. I told her you shouldn’t have send me up there! She laughed. I would have happily paid more. But that’s how this lady does it. Everything is so cheap. She is there to help the community. When I told her I only came for towels for my foster kittens she gave me the extra cat beds and a pack of pet bowels too.
I came home and cleaned my room a bit and then D came home. We sat down and did some Lego together. She doing her big Ninjago dragon she got for her birthday and I started on my hibiscus set.
this is what I ended up setting up last night for my D’s birthday. The green is her bedroom and then down to the living area. But apparently she spent most of the night on the couch cause there was a moth in her room!
