She's not on a full fodmap diet @Jynx
She can stomach some things but has really bad reactions to other things.
There is a pasta sauce at Aldi that has no onion in it. The only one I've ever been able to find. The Satay chicken and red curry chicken sauces from Aldi are safe too. Well safe for her anyway.
The fodmap groceries are stupidly expensive.

@Bow what sort of justification do you think they want? Could you just let them know your usual SW is away, and that with your mum away as well, you're feeling a bit unstable or something? Or maybe that's not the right word... hmmm.... 🤔
Oooh hot tip! You can find SO MANY photo frames at op shops!! I picked one up recently, it's pretty nice I'll grab a photo in a tick! Haven't decided what I wanna put in it yet, cos it's 3 frames in one so it's gotta be three same size pics, all with a theme!
Aww look at you go, showing off your art like the legend you are! Love it!
Nah tonight I reckon I'll finish off my cooking (ran outta mash for my second sheppard's pie lol it looks so sad with like, one squiggle of mash on top like a great big worm 😅) and then continue my shuffling!! Apparently I was so chuffed with how my bedroom turned out, it has given me even more cleaning energy! Which is bizarre for me, usually cleaning feels like nails on a chalkboard.
@Snowie wow, yeah onion is in like everything, good find!! Is it difficult to cook for the family?
I gained new respect for my mum after I moved out and started cooking for myself - having to accommodate dad's allergies, my sister's sensitivity to certain preservatives, and deal with my fussy eating (which in hindsight, I reckon might have been ARFID, especially cos there's still lingering elements) would have been a nightmare!

Thanks @Snowie
im usually in bed not long after D is in bed. 8:30-9pm. I’ve been waking up at stupid o’clock though. I just wanna sleep!

I don’t know @Jynx … but whenever I call my CM up and ask for some additional support she always has me justify why I need it.
its hard, cause mums away, my best friend and really the only other person that I talk to, she is in the UK. Now my SW is away and the other SW that I would normally feel ok talking to a bit, she is away too. I don’t really feel like I have anyone else.
oh I’ve looked at op shops… we have a few around here, but I find some of them are expensive when I can get a new frame from Kmart for $2.50. I’m a bit of a perfectionist…. All my frames are the same. They line up and sit nicely at markets. I do have a few different ones that I do as one offs though.
I just framed 20 pieces, and I got my first cracked glass. I usually grab boxes of frames from Kmart and don’t check the glass cause I don’t keep it anyways, but one was cracked.
I love shepherds pie! Such a homely comfort food! Cleaning spree is good! You’ll feel good after it all! I gave the house a good vacuum yesterday. Underneath everything, behind all the doors. So many balls of cat hair! I really wanna have a good clean out of my clothes. Got way too many. And need to do D’s too. Too many that don’t fit any more.
As time goes on…. I believe more and more that D has ARFID

@Bow Aww hun, everyone is off and away! I reckon that in itself is worth bringing to the forefront; what sort of justifications have worked in the past? Because if you weave those into the narrative in combination with the sense of isolation, it might help paint a clear picture of your needs! Maybe you could make a few dot points or something before Wednesday? Happy to help however I can 😁
Oh I totally get it, how you display your art is part of the sales tactics!! And if it brings also a sense of ordered satisfaction, all the better 😊
This is the frame I got - it's actually 4 frames! Each one is 5x7 inches. If you have any ideas or inspo let me know!!
Close up of the frame's detailing!!
Oh yeah the pet hair is never ending hey! I scraped down the cat tree yesterday too with this little rubber thingy (best thing for pet hair, I think I've shown you?) and there was SO MUCH.... I could have made another whole cat out of it 🤣
Aww hun, that's tricky hey! Is it something you're concerned enough to like, get her into a GP for? If it's any consolation, I did (mostly) grow out of it!! I think it's also associated with ASD, is that something you've ever seen elements of in your D's behaviours?

Just being honest with her and telling her how it is is what I usually say @Jynx that I am struggling with such and such and I feel that I really need a bit more support in the form of a visit/ check in. Like I had to ask for extra support after my most recent attempt. I don’t think it’s something that I should have to ask for in those circumstances, it should just be a given.
id appreciate some help with that if ya got the time… maybe tomorrow? Just tucked D into bed and I’m gonna go crawl into bed myself shortly.
I totally love that frame! It’s like vintage and rustic kinda. I’ve done some art pieces with frames that size. I reckon some black and white prints would look nice.
Groot doesn’t seem to malt too much… like where he tends to sleep and sit there isn’t too much fur. But then I’ll just find big clumps and balls of it in random places.
absolutely I see ASD elements in her! I should actually keep track of it. Cause I can’t really think of anything at the moment, but she’ll do something and I’ll be like yep, something else to add to the list.
I just worry that she isn’t getting enough vitamins and minerals. She eats carrots, cauliflower and apples. That’s it for fruit and vegs.

I 1000% agree with you @Bow it should be a given. The lack of understanding of how trauma impacts us, including how much harder it can make it for us to be able to advocate for our needs, is abysmal. But yes, I can help out tomorrow, just tag me!! Cos I will forget lol my brain gets wiped every time I sleep 😅
Ooh yeah black and white prints would go down a treat!! Hmm maybe I can comb through some old pics from scotland or something, see if I can find one of my big honking castle pics 😁
Yeah maybe just keep a lil journal? If it's not been suuuuper impactful it's maybe not worth the lengthy and expensive process to get diagnosed just yet (my sister just went through this w my nephew, said it was nearly $2k 😵) - but also, having that sense of self-understanding and being better able to identify and communicate needs would definitely be one of the benefits of early diagnosis!! Food for thought obvs, one thing at a time!!
You could always try like, one of those kids multivitamins? They should hopefully come in gummy form!! I try to take all my vitamins in gummy form, then it's like having a little treat!! But it's good for me! Yay!!
Goodnight hun!! Hope you get some nice restful sleepies 😊🫂
