You’re funny @Snowie that’s just what I’d do!!
Not much on this weekend, just a sporting commitment and making a start on cleaning out my bedroom. Gd1 is coming over to help…probably thinks she’ll be paid in jewellery!!
Do you have much on?

We have a few cafes in town but there is one that has the most yummy muffins and biscuits @Eve7 I've tried all the different flavours!! Keep coming back to the chocolate muffin and iced coffee.
Well hopefully gd1 can help out hon. Maybe repay her by buying her lunch!
My mum has started telling me who gets what when she passes (her and my dads things). I think with the dementia she wants to do it before she forgets.
Not much on over the weekend, but that might be nice.
I hope your sporting commitment goes well.

I can understand she wants to do all these things before she cannot remember @Eve7
I guess I just have to support her.
Fish n chips is normally either Friday or Saturday night dinner here if the kids are home.
Both kids at work so just H and I home. We just had toasted sandwiches!!

I'm sure your family love those big dinners and desserts @Eve7
I remember as a kid my grandma used to make great cakes! It's those things that you remember.
I love trying new recipes. I know it's good if they ask if I can cook it again!!
Just tried a chicken curry in the slow cooker.
He is going ok. He is still in the rehab hospital. Making progress just slowly. Walking a lot better now with his walker. H and a few others are redoing his bathroom for him. This way he can have a walk in shower and a higher toilet to make it easier for him to use. They have gotten some rails put in where there are steps too so it makes it easier and safer for him.
Made his wife another lot of meals the other day.

You’re a good neighbour @Snowie
I like trying new recipes too and I often get them from Facebook. I recently made fasolakia in the slow cooker and it was Yummo. I enjoy winter food from the slow cooker and lots of vegetable soups.

I get some of facebook too @Eve7 There are some slow cooker groups that I follow.
I love my slow cooker too, especially in winter. I've never made fasolakia, will have to try it.
I have a vegetable soup recipe that I make. My Nan used to make it. Would go visit her and you could smell it as soon as you entered the house. My mum used to make it all the time too.
I love recipes that have been passed down.
I figure she (my neighbour) would do the same for me.
