Just got a call. They think she might have to go into heart surgery tomorrow. Hopefully she stays stable during the night.

No point going in now. They are very strict on visiting hours.

Emotionally and physically exhausted. Don't know if I'll even be able to sleep.

Been thinking of you lots today @Snowie  wondering how hubby’s mum is going. 💜

Hubby's mum is doing better. Had a rough morning yesterday but picked up a bit in the afternoon. She knows who we are which is good and has breathing tube out. Still on a mask but at least she is able to talk a bit. We are limiting seeing her and who goes in as she tires so quickly.

Lots asking to visit her but just keeping it at immediate family for now. Also, only 2 allowed at a time and have to put mask and gown on so she doesn't pick up any germs.

Has 4 blockages in her heart. They will have to go back in at some stage. Also did a scan on her lungs yesterday. Waiting for results.

Haven't been in yet today so will head in there soon to do the afternoon/night shift.

On top of that my washing machine decided to d*e yesterday so will have to get to the shops and buy a new one in the next few days. Luckily mum has hers so I can use that for now.

It doesn't rain it pours 🤦‍♀️
