I don't understand why the cards? 
He clearly doesn't understand what your going through for him to think this is something you want to be doing or can control right now. 
what was he thinking? All I can think babe is that he is trying the tough love approach. I know and you know that don't work but maybe he thinks it will. I am so sorry you have to put up with that babe. Especially now.
