Looking to nature for wellbeing

Being outside and enjoying green spaces and fresh air feels good and can improve our mental health .I certainly feel better after a nature walk but it's hard to get there.

Maybe we need a virtual space to share information and experiences

Here's a start :

Just seeing them helps

Re: Looking to nature for wellbeing

@Shaz51 , so beautiful! When we lived in an apartment I used to keep plants in my balcony and I always loved spring and seeing my plants flower. Now I don't really have much time for gardening but still love the feeling of spring.

What type of plants do you have?

Re: Looking to nature for wellbeing

@Healandlove , @Dimity. There are so many in my mum's gardens,  I don't know all the names , I know ixora,  Bangkok Rose

Re: Looking to nature for wellbeing

@Dimity thank you for sharing those articles.

Forest bathing is something I have been wanting to do with a guide. Whenever I can I do a bit of a walk in nature and I feel better afterwards.  I didn't know you could become a forest bathing guide. I may do this when I retire.

 I think that's a dahlia and a zygocactus @Shaz51 .

My mum and grandpa were great gardeners.
