Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Afternoon sis, hows your day going? How was the wedding? (Think you said that was today...) @Sans911 💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

The wedding hasn't happened yet @outlander. It's in a few hours, so late afternoon. It's just a little past noon here so we've just had lunch and are now relaxing. A small bus is picking up the guests at certain places and we're last pickup. My foster sister and I went out to the wedding reception to take sandwiches out to the wedding party. The women were getting their hair and make-up done, and the men were doing last minute jobs at the reception area. It's just a bush camp building but they have made it look really pretty and special. It's very unique to them. It will be a great wedding

Just a couple of wedding photos that won't breach guidelines. It was a perfect day weather wise yesterday for a bush wedding. The wedding was held at a bush camp in a small south western town. The ceremony was outside to start with, and then moved inside a large building for the reception. There was some seating but the food was mostly finger food or in small boxes easily held. It was a fantastic wedding totally suited to the couple. The bride wore a beautiful lace dress and RM William's boots! Very relaxed informal atmosphere. There was home brewed beer, local wines and champagne. And there were even second hand lounges to loaf around. I quite enjoyed myself, even got up for a few dances. Myself and a lot of other guests got picked up by a bus from our accommodation and we dropped back at two separate set times. A large number of guests stayed upstairs above the reception in bunked rooms. The bride really thought of everything when planning this wedding.

I've otherwise been OK. Still in a fair bit of pain, and very keen to have the dressings removed tommorow at the clinic. They're starting to come loose now.

I was picked up Saturday by a family member and dropped back today at lunch time. Mum just came around for a visit and cuppa, and has gone again.

Time to feed the cats now.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I am so pleased you had a good time @Sans911 It seems like it was a really lovely wedding and a really lovely day Smiley Very Happy Being picked up is a huge bonus and so great that they thought to do that for their guests.I suspect that beautiful cake pretty much sums up the day - natural, elegant and natural Smiley Very Happy

It will be so good for you to finally have those dressings off too Hon but I do wish that pain would go away for you Smiley Sad

Hope the fur babies were pleased to see you and are giving you cuddles 😺😺

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Glad you had a good time @Sans911

Sounds like it was a beautiful wedding.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Yes, the fur babies were happy to see me, and I had cuddles when I went for a lie down shortly after I came home.

The pain has been a little more bearable today which is good. But it's still not consistently better so it's hard to get comfortable.

I see you've been quite tired, but you have been through a lot in the last few months with returning to work, emotional upheavals and being physically unwell. So not surprised really that you are feeling that way. And glad to hear that you're not over stretching yourself too. Hoping you feel rested soon @Zoe7

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hello sweetie, yes it was a very different but beautiful wedding. So nice to see you here. If you want to respond, how are you? You've been very much missed.
