Am around just no words tonight.

Evening lil Sis @outlander. Nice to see you tonight 💕💕💕

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Evening sis @Sans911 Heart
Hows your night going?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Not bad @outlander. I've just been watching Tiger King on Netflix but it's finished now. I'm really tired so I'm going to make a Milo. Want to join me?

Did the assessment go OK today?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

oh yes that would be good, im watching without a trace in front of the heater with a heat pack. Not long got back from the medical centre and chemist so something relaxing would be nice @Sans911

yeah it went ok, he answered all questions I had and shared his thoughts and got along with pop so seems like a good match. ive said we will see how he goes as im not sure whatll happen when/if the my aged care assessment goes well but ive asked him to come for 2 hours each fortnight in the meantime, its not much but he charges 60 an hour so its not cheap either.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Yeah that's not cheap hun but if it takes a tiny bit of pressure of you, and gives you a much needed break, then it's worth it for a little while at least. Gosh, that's more money then I make as a nurse!!

It's actually International Nurses Day today, but it doesn't feel like it for me.

That's a great show Without a Trace.

@outlander

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

yeah it is a lot @Sans911 their prices range from $40-60 (some are around 75 if its a night shift or a weekend) but a lot of the cheaper ones didn't have experience with dementia or aged care at all. I was also after a slightly older male worker as well so he can be pops friend rather then a young guy/girl doing the exact thing I can do. this guy seems pretty good, 12+ years in aged care, hes still working but not as a AIN hes actually the nursing home manager now but doing support work on the side during his spare time. he likes a lot of the same things as pop too so is a bonus.
Hes only free on a Wednesday atm but not this week otherwise I would've asked him to come in tomorrow so I can rest. I haven't been to well today and one things just been added but have some pain killers from the dr so should help abit but have been told to rest a few days

You are a bloody brilliant nurse-don't let anyone tell you any different. Just cause your not working atm doesn't mean you should be celebrated any less Heart

yeah I like this tv show, its finished in about half hour now, before it come on i caught the end of Cold case but wasn't really worth watching with 15 min left of it.
