Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Was your mother lonely when you weren't living with her @Shaz51? It's horrible though I think to live so long if you aren't happy. Some people are quite content, but others are not.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Glad you had an ok day @Sans911

Hope your rest helps you hun, and you get some more sleep tonight.

My day was going ok. Went to SIL house for lunch. When we got home M pretty much blamed me fofr ruining xmas. Now I am a total mess.

Oh well, the kids have had a good day, that is the main thing.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

My Dad is 88 and gets very lonely since Mum died last year. @Sans911 @Shaz51 They were married for 62 years, a long time.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

🤬😡😤 I wish your mother could hold her viscous tongue for just one day @Snowie. Yes, the kids might have had a good day, but you deserve that too hun. You have done nothing wrong at all. Hugs and hugs😘💜😘💜😘💜

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Yes, that is a long time @Emelia8 to be married. My foster mother was married for about 16 years when her husband died suddenly at the young age of 49. I was actually staying with them at the time and although I didn't see him die, I remember him looking terribly unwell. I was only 7. He was the father of my dreams compared to the other poor biological excuse. Because my foster mother lived in a small country town with a very basic hospital, they had to drive 45mins to a larger town. And he was only taken to a drs surgery where he collapsed and died of a heart attack. I was incredibly angry and upset with my foster mother because he never came home, and it was never explained to me why for a very long time. After that, my foster mother had to return to full time work. Continuing to foster me was not possible & a possible consideration of adoption was also dropped.

Goodnight @Snowie 😴😴😴

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You did not ruin christmas at all @Snowie Lay the blame where it belongs - with you B and now you M for choosing her side and for further choosing not to believe the truth. You have had a lovely day with your family that care about you so do not let her nastiness or lack of any sort of empathy change that Hon. Hugs and hugs and hugs Heart
