Re: long-term trauma & abuse, BPD, relationship breakdowns, lack of support/community, difficulty finding work

Hey @magnolia84 ,

How are you today? Thank you for your post last night. It was great to hear from you.

You sound like a very thoughtful person. As a borderline, I know this can have its downfalls when we feel too deeply or strongly. At the same time, you have the tenderness that many just don't have.

I'm so glad to hear that flowers play a huge part in your life. I can see how they would. Unfortunately, I don't have a green thumb at all. But just watching flowers brings awe to my life.

Have you been up to much today?

Re: long-term trauma & abuse, BPD, relationship breakdowns, lack of support/community, difficulty finding work

@tyme Thanks so much for your message. You are always so kind.

I had a nice day. I had a psych appointment in the morning which was really good. Then I took my dog to the beach and we walked along and had a coffee. It was a gorgeous day.

What did you get up to?

I definitely am someone who puts others before myself. Often to my own detriment. And I usually have friends who need lots of things but then when I need something they are no where to be found.

Join the club! I think you are not alone in experiencing this! At least we know it happens...

I'm glad to hear you went out with the dog to the beach. I LOVE the beach, but the beach is so hard to get to from where I am in Melb. It's not worth the effort. When I lived in Sydney, my house was down the road from the beach so we could go all the time. I find the beach so soothing. I could sit there for hours just watching the waves.

Today, I went out myself to get an acai bowl for brekkie. Then I visited a few people before coming home to hope online here. I always love seeing all my forums family.
