@Snowie @AuntGlow I just got a scented candle delivered today. But can’t smell it. Got the sniffles today not sure if hay fever or I’m getting a cold. Just took painkillers as my back is starting to ache. Have been sitting a lot this afternoon. Will take a hay fever tablet to see if that works. Need to get up and blow my nose.

@AuntGlow in bed now nice and comforting. Listening to BBC radio. Stretching out back. Too tired to even read. Hoping for a full night’s sleep tonight.

Got up extra early to go to the supermarket so hoping for less people. As my luck has it, ran into someone I knew. They decided to tell me all about their fantastic, wonderful life and about their amazing kids. Just smiled, nodded and said the right things. About 20 mins later I finally said goodbye and escaped.

I hate small talk. I hate having to pretend. I try and avoid people as much as possible. Maybe that's why I have no friends.

Tried to do what my psych said today and failed.

At least my journal got a good writing in.

It's hard when people say all that they are doing and I'm just glad if I can get out of bed and into the shower!

Gs2 discovered a box of old letters so I went through those. My sister worked in an East European orphanage and I had kept most of her letters which I’ve now reread. Some weee very sad @Snowie bur she would often take one home overnight and give them a bubble bath. The poor darlings had only ever stood up in the shower room and been hosed. They didn’t know to sit down in the bath 😢

I try to avoid people I know at the shops.

Went and saw MIL in hospital. They operated on her yesterday. Was just key hole surgery so hoping she isn't in there for much longer. She seemed ok today and not in too much pain.

Just finished washing the dog. Dog 1, Lizard 0 😏🤷‍♀️She decided to get the lizard in her mouth (by the leg) and fling it around. She had lizard over her so had to have a bath.

She's always too slow for the roos and rabbits, so I guess the lizard didn't move fast enough. The joys of living country.

At least it got me of the couch. Actually had a shower today too!

Glad you were kept busy today @Snowie . I had my sister’s dog get one of my backyard lizards once. Haven’t seen any lizards or snakes yet this spring.

I hate hospitals

Have tea in the slow cooker so don't have to think about that.

We normally get snakes and occasionally lizards on our block. She has never tried to pull one apart before.
