The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

That sounds like a nice time away @Sans911 hopefully you can take pics to share here too. An hr 8 drive is a long time, breaking it up sounds much better.
I like travelling along the coastline, usually its cooler with the seabreeze and the sunset/sunrises are really pretty. Im really glad you still managed to go on your trip, i know you were doubting it abit with the car needing repairs, its great it all worked out in the end 💜

Oh im glad the ice pack is helping. Heat packs are my friend for pain atm though not for much longer with a heatwave predicted 🥵
Is it still really hot over wa?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

39 here today @outlander. And a very humid night. Tommorow is supposed to be much cooler

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911 I hope you have a good time away and get some well deserved rest and recharge your batteries.

We have headed away for 2 weeks with some friends.  Will be on a river with some boats. The kids are really excited about it and been looking forward to it. Me, not so much but i think i will get pleasure out of the kids having a great time. We have been to this place before but not for a number of years.

Just letting you know so if I am more quieter then usual the next 2 weeks you know why. Not sure how good internet access is where we will be.

Will still follow along in the background

@outlander @Zoe7

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911 @Snowie @outlander I did sleep for a few hours eventualy then moved to the couch and got another hour or so. It is enough to function today 👍👍👍

Have a great trip Sans and Snowie - find those moments you can hang onto and find joy in. Heart

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks for that. It sounds like a nice time away @Snowie. If anything it will be a distraction for you. Perhaps there will some moments of enjoyment for you. 💜 ❤️

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks @Zoe7. I didn't sleep so well either being in a strange house/bed. But like you enough to function. I've completely changed the direction and route I intended to drive. But it means a better town to stop overnight in and a shorter time to my final destination tommorow.

Yesterday I saw 2 painted blue trees on my drive. If you google blue trees there is an interesting story behind them.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I will google that now @Sans911 We had a red painted tree on the road to Launceston (don't know the story behind it) but they chopped it down, cut it up and made a word out of it (can't remember what it was as it has been so long since I have driven on that road). We also used to have a section of the road where there were at least a dozen large animals sculptured out of trees - they were amazing but the man who did them died and no-one continued it on - such a pity as it was a highlight for so many along that road.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I believe the story is only yet in this state @Zoe7. Let me know if you find it
