Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks lil Sis @outlander

I'm a little better today. The sun was shining as well, so it was warm. I took Mr A outside and I cut back some more of the messy hibiscus out in the front garden.

Just relaxing now on the bed with him. Jasper is giving me the evil eye at the end of the bed. I'm waiting for my dinner, it's almost there

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

im glad your abit better today @Sans911 Heart

i bet Mr A was quite happy to go outside today esp with the warm sun. is Jasper allowed outside yet?

good on you for getting out in the garden too. abit of fresh air never goes astray does it.

what are you cooking tonight?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Jasper can go out sometimes when it's a cloudy day, but he doesn't cope well with a harness and lead. When I move house again the next year or two, I'll build them an outside enclosure. Mr A is fine on the lead as long I supervise him, as he has a tendency to get tangled or slip the harness.

I'm getting the stink eye from Jasper atm because he wants some of my dinner. I'm just having a chicken & vege pie with flavoured chips. Nothing special. Jasper already got his paws on a couple of chips.

Have you eaten today? How's your anxiety?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

How come he can only go out of cloudy days? @Sans911
Lol i can see him in my mind just staring at you!
Yeah i had some toast not to long ago. I made pop something else but i cant really it eat as it makes me sick-need to try and find recipies that we will both eat 😕
Im avoiding my emotions atm...

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Jasper is mostly white with pink ears and nose. Cats who are white who spend too much time in the sun can develop skin cancers. My foster sister's cat some years ago got skin cancer and it ate away his nose and left his ears scarred and ragged looking. Eventually they can't eat properly, breath properly and have to be put to eternal sleep. He's asleep now but he changed position about five minutes ago and wiggled his ears-it was funny to see it. Mr A is curled up by my leg with a paw over his face. I clipped his claws today;he wasn't impressed.

Avoiding your emotions is ok for a little while. What about some rice, potatoes or eggs-can you manage those?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Ahh @Sans911 thats like horses with pink skin or pink noses. They get sunburn and its hard to treat.
Kitty spam? Mr A is very cute too.

Yeah i know, just trying to deal with one thing at a timr and right now its pain management. Im worried ill start feeling things and itll be all over again like the last few nights.

I can manage those but has to be small dose as they are heavy and filling and for weight loss purposes too. Dinner is always the hardest and breakfast.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

That's why I mentioned them, as they're filling. Eggs are ok in moderation. So is anything really.

One thing at a time is fine @outlander

I read your hand's been quite painful today

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I'm just meeting with a mh lady from an organisation that is running a return to work program in the near future. Meeting her over coffee in the morning. Nothing else though. What about you?

Just to let you know that I have taken my meds & prn. So it might be a quick lights out tonight. I'm trying to clear the paperwork filing off my bed.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing
